Stuffed Wild Mushroom Burger

If you love mushrooms and juicy, grilled burgers, this recipe was made especially for you! Top it off with creamy Gouda cheese, lettuce and onion for a cheesy, grilled sensation between two slices of brioche.



  • In a small sauté pan over high heat, sauté the mushrooms in oil. Reserve at room temperature.
  • Combine the beef with the shredded Gouda cheese, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper and sautéed mushrooms. Mix well, then form into a 5-inch patty.
  • Preheat grill. Grill the onion slice until tender and slightly charred. Reserve.
  • Grill the burger until slightly charred and pink in the center, about 6 minutes, turning every 1½ minutes. Add the sliced Gouda cheese and continue cooking until melted. Meanwhile, grill the bun until warm and toasted.
  • To build the burger, place the patty on the bun and top with grilled onion, lettuce and your favorite condiments.
