French Bread Pizza Recipe

After a long day at work, the last thing you want to do is fuss over a family dinner. In less than 20 minutes, this French Bread Pizza can be your meal tonight, tomorrow, or whenever you have a craving for pizza.


  • 1 lb loaf French bread
  • 3 cups Crystal Farms® Shredded Whole Milk Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • ⅓ stick butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Toppings, to taste pepperoni
  • Toppings, to taste black olives
  • Toppings, to taste green pepper
  • Toppings, to taste red onion
  • Toppings, to taste mushrooms


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Slice French bread in half the short way. Then cut each half lengthwise so you have 4 open-face pieces of bread. Place bread on large baking sheet.
  • In small bowl stir together melted butter, garlic and parsley. Brush over tops of bread.
  • Spread pizza sauce over top and sprinkle with mozzarella. Add your favorite pizza topping.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  • Slice and serve immediately.
