Baked Florentine Chicken

Love Chicken Parmesan? Try this twist. Spinach fettucine and Italian-breadcrumb-and-walnut-crusted chicken are topped with traditional red sauce and cheese.



  • Heat oven to 400° F. Lightly beat egg in shallow dish with 2 tablespoons water.
  • In another shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup Finely shredded 6 cheese Italian, and walnuts. Dip each chicken breast in egg, then crumb mixture. Place in 2-quart baking dish. Drizzle with butter.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink inside. Serve hot over cooked pasta, topped with sauce and remaining cheese.
